This tour has approximately 1 mile of walking with little to no hills.
To start, the group will meet at our first tasting location. The exact location and parking instructions will be provided on your reservation confirmation email. Here, the group will have a chance to use restrooms and meet the other tour guests. Then, we will enjoy our first tasting together!
After that, we will travel to each tasting location on foot, and restrooms will also be available at most (but not all) tasting locations. As a rule, we make sure our walking tours are leisurely and at a comfortable pace. Above all, we want everyone to have a fun, relaxed afternoon tasting the best foods around Olympia!
Finally, the tour will finish off at Well 80 at 514 4th Ave E. It is important to note that this is not where the tour begins, but our starting location is not far away. The tour loop will bring you within a few blocks of our first stop, and our tour guides will happily show you the way back if needed. We hope you have a great time exploring with us!
Old School Pizzeria
First, visit a great stop for a classic pizza slice at a location that is anything but ordinary.
Rush In Alaskan Dumplings
Here, we travel beyond Olympia for a taste of Russia. Try their authentic, homemade pelmeni and borscht for an unforgettable experience!
Hawley's Gelato and Coffee
Indulge your sweet tooth at this family-owned gelato shop with special treats like their fresh, house-made fudge!
Next, check out this new brewery and brewpub built on the site of one of Olympia’s famous Artesian wells. How do they make their beer so delicious? "It's in the water!"
Finally, stop by this locally owned cake and pastry shop that delivers one-of-a-kind, delicious masterpieces. Don't miss out on their specialty pie tots and French macaroons!
At the start of the tour, groups will meet near Franklin St SE and Fourth Ave SE. Exact location will be provided on your reservation confirmation email. In addition, street parking is available on most streets as well as select parking lots.Get Directions
Absolutely not! Our tours combine architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into a unique 3-hour experience. Imagine walking through the city eating our local artisans’ most delicious foods while learning about the neighborhoods from real locals.

Yes, advance ticket purchase is required. Events typically sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.
We absolutely do! We can accommodate a variety of special requests (family reunions, birthday parties, out of town guests, corporate events, conventions, festivals, parades, grand openings and more).
You should bring with you a camera and a small bottle of water. When it’s really hot out, we recommend an application of sunscreen on exposed parts of the body and a lightweight pair of sunglasses. During the cooler seasons it’s important to wear an extra layer of clothing and consider bringing gloves. If it looks like rain we suggest you bring a rain poncho or rain jacket.
